Frances Dee to Appear at Classic Movie Night

Frances Dee will make a rare public appearance tonight at 7 at Classic Movie Night at the St. James Club, 8358 Sunset Blvd., for a tribute to her career and that of her late husband, Joel McCrea.
Dee is remembered for her appearances in such ‘30s classics as Rouben Mamoulian’s “Becky Sharp” and George Cukor’s “Little Women.”
Clips from the films of the McCreas will be followed by a question-and-answer period with Dee. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Information: (213) 462-0108.
