HAPPY DAYS: Loyal patrons of San Juan Capistrano’s fabled Swallows Inn should be happy: Their favorite haunt seems to have a healthy future. The three local businesses to submit bids to buy the brick building that houses the revered establishment, a block from Mission San Juan Capistrano, all say no changes are planned. Any talk of messing with the Swallows is considered blasphemy in some circles. “You’d have a civil war on your hands,” says local rancher Larry Buchheim with a laugh.
