Man Guilty of Robbing, Threatening Senator’s Wife

WASHINGTON — A 35-year-old man was convicted Thursday of robbing and threatening to kill the wife of Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.). David Young faces a possible sentence of 15 years to life in prison for the Dec. 21 armed robbery and up to 20 years for the threats against Lucy Calautti, the senator’s wife.
