Director of ‘Roger & Me’ Plans Sequel: Michael Moore, the filmmaker who chronicled the demise of his hometown of Flint, Mich., in the parody “Roger & Me,” said he is working on a sequel. The sequel will air this fall on television, along with the original movie, and focus on how Flint has been affected by General Motors Corp.’s decision to lay off more than 4,000 auto workers in the town. In December, GM Chairman Robert Stempel said a plant in Flint will be closed by 1995. “We plan an update on what’s happened to Flint under the reign of Bob Stempel,” Moore said.
