WEEKEND TV : ‘Children Speak Out’ About L.A. Riots

Space creatures, little human creatures and one very rich man speak their piece this weekend.
“Intruders,” a two-part CBS (2)(8) drama airing Sunday and Tuesday at 9 p.m., examines the supposedly real stories of earthlings who have been abducted by aliens. Richard Crenna stars, with Mare Winningham and Daphne Ashbrook.
Earlier at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, KABC Channel 7 presents “Children Speak Out,” a program that gives youngsters an opportunity to react to the recent civil unrest in Los Angeles. Christine Lund hosts.
Spanish-language station KVEA Channel 52 holds the “De Mi Corazon” telethon, beginning Sunday at 4 p.m. The program will raise funds that provide assistance to child abuse victims.
Finally, probable presidential candidate Ross Perot is interviewed Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on C-SPAN. The program will be repeated Sunday at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m.
