LA PUENTE : Suspect, 19, Arrested in Movie Theater Killing
A young La Puente man was arrested Friday in the shooting death last month of a 17-year-old boy and the wounding of a woman in a movie theater in the City of Industry.
Fernando Solis, 19, was taken into custody by sheriff’s homicide detectives after a 6:30 a.m. search of his home.
The shooting occurred at 11:15 p.m. April 22, during a showing of “American Me” at the Puente Mall 4 AMC Theater.
Marco Facio of La Puente and his 20-year-old female companion, whose name has not been released, were shot as they watched the movie about the leader of a prison gang.
