Ransom Note Found in Exxon Case: A ransom note from a group claiming to have kidnaped Exxon Co. International President Sidney Reso is under investigation, the New York Post reported. However, officials from the Morris County, N.J., prosecutor’s office and from Exxon said they had no knowledge of the note reported in the newspaper. The Post quoted an unidentified top law enforcement source as saying a group calling itself the Rainbow Warriors called Exxon April 30, the day after Reso disappeared, to direct the company to the note at a shopping mall. The source said the group called Exxon again May 1 and made its last contact when it telephoned Reso’s home May 3.
