Devlon Dunn won the 100- and 200-meter dashes and world champion Kenny Harrison took the triple jump in a meet at Shizuoka, Japan. Dunn ran 10.47 seconds in the 100 and 20.77 in the 200. Harrison won the triple jump at 55 feet 9 1/4 inches.
