Mirroring One Man’s Protest
Regarding “Recluse Accused of Shining Mirror Into Pilot’s Eyes Faces Jail” in the Times Valley Edition on April 23:
How often I have wanted some way to communicate to airplane and helicopter pilots my rage at the noise aircraft make as they fly over my home.
Too bad it takes such a drastic measure as Chaisson’s mirror reflecting sunlight into pilot’s eyes to bring attention to the noise fatigue endured by those below.
Noise is a major health issue. Daily, at least a dozen helicopters fly over my house.
Commercial jet takeoffs from Burbank Airport begin at 7 a.m., plus the occasional extra-loud CEO hot-rodding in his corporate jet.
Is there an Alcide J. Chaisson defense fund?
