Van Halen Concerts Rescheduled
Van Halen’s concerts at the Forum, postponed last week due to the disturbances in Los Angeles, have been rescheduled for next week. Tickets for the May 1 show will be honored on Tuesday, and tickets for the May 3 date will be honored on May 16. Refunds are available at point of purchase until 6 p.m. on the respective rescheduled dates.
In addition, rescheduled ticket sales for several shows have been announced.
The Universal Amphitheatre’s “New York Doo Wopp” (June 6), James Taylor (July 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12) and k.d. lang go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., while Ricky Van Shelton (June 29) and Crosby, Stills & Nash (Aug. 5-6) will be available on Sunday at 1 p.m. Paula Abdul (Aug. 18, 19 and 21) goes on sale Sunday at 10 a.m.
The Cure’s June 27 Rose Bowl date goes on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. Three Cult dates (June 12 at Santa Barbara County Bowl, June 13 at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre and June 14 at San Diego’s Open Air Theatre) will be available Saturday at noon. Michael Bolton’s July 13 Hollywood Bowl date goes on sale Sunday at 9 a.m. Available Sunday at noon are Adrian Belew (June 5 at the Variety) and the Gipsy Kings (July 11 at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre). Blues Traveler at the Spruce Goose (May 24) goes on sale Friday at 3 p.m.
