Three men were killed Sunday in a crash on the Ventura Freeway in Encino, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The victims, none of whom was identified, appeared to be Latino males in their early 20s, CHP Officer Richard Perez said.
The accident occurred about 8 p.m. on the eastbound Ventura Freeway east of White Oak Avenue, Perez said. No details were immediately available.
Perez said another victim was taken from the scene, but the extent of that person’s injuries was unclear.
Two lanes of the freeway were expected to be closed for several hours, Perez said.
