CAMARILLO : Political Fund-Raiser to Be Rescheduled
- Share via
A Cinco de Mayo fund-raiser for Ventura County Supervisor Maggie Erickson Kildee has been postponed because of the civil unrest in Los Angeles.
The fund-raiser, planned for Tuesday at La Sala Vista Recreation Center in Camarillo, will be rescheduled, said Laine Waggoner, a volunteer at Kildee’s office.
“We felt that people are still unnerved from the fallout of the riots in L.A., and their minds wouldn’t be on this type of thing, so we thought we would wait until things quiet down,” Waggoner said.
