Spike Lee Lecture to Be Rescheduled

UC Irvine officials say they plan to reschedule a talk by filmmaker Spike Lee, who canceled an appearance there Thursday when traffic tie-ups stemming from civil unrest in Los Angeles prevented him from getting out of the city. No new date has been set. Lee had been invited to discuss his latest film, “Malcolm X,” and other aspects of his career.
