Capistrano Valley tennis players Allison Light and Farrah Tierney have signed letters of intent, Light with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Tierney with Cal State Long Beach, Cougar Coach Kerry Leander said.
In four years of varsity play, Light (213-39) and Tierney (163-39) helped the Cougars to a 77-11 record, three South Coast League titles and a trip to the Southern Section 3-A team finals in 1988.
In other recruiting news, Cougar pitcher Matt Harrison has signed with Washington.
