The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between April 20 and April 26:
Glendale
South Adams Street, 400 block--A woman walking home from the store at 10:40 a.m. April 22 was assaulted and robbed of a beer, her cigarettes and less than a dollar in change.
Crescent Drive, 1200 block--A man surprised a burglar inside his home at 1:30 p.m. April 22 The intruder ordered the man to the floor and fled with a camera and watch valued at $550, plus $20 in cash and the man’s car.
Dixon Street, 1400 block--Two women selling flowers entered a man’s apartment at 8:45 p.m. April 23, sold him a bouquet and then produced a gun. The robbers fled in the victim’s car with six diamond rings, 16 men’s watches, three cameras, two binoculars and a TV, valued together at $9,350, and $398 cash.
Raymond Avenue, 1400 block--Police responded at 10:36 p.m. April 25 after a neighbor reported that a home was being burglarized. Three men were subsequently arrested for investigation of burglary.
La Canada Flintridge
Foothill Boulevard, 400 block--A Volkswagen dealership reported that between April 18 and 20, three tires and rims, valued at $1,320, were stolen from a car in the lot.
Crown Avenue, 5300 block--Stereo equipment, a camcorder, telephone, camera, jewelry and clothing, valued together at $12,640, were stolen from a home that was entered and ransacked between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 24.
La Crescenta
Ramsdell Avenue, 4400 block--Thieves caused about $1,850 damage to Crescenta Valley High School’s outdoor vending machines on April 24 or 25 and stole an undetermined amount of money from the machines.
Montrose
Florencita Drive, 2300 block--About $600 damage was done to outdoor vending machines at Glendale Community College on April 20 or 21 and $150 in coins stolen.
Atwater
Fletcher Drive, 3100 block--A person on a sidewalk was assaulted and robbed of jewelry valued at $500 by a man armed with a bottle at 5 p.m. April 20.
Eagle Rock
North Figueroa Boulevard, 7300 block--A market clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $700 by two men at 11:40 p.m. April 20.
Hill Drive, 1300 block--Four men pushed a woman to the ground and fled in a car with her purse and money, totaling $320, at 10:45 a.m. April 21.
Colorado Boulevard, 2100 block--Thieves entered a business and stole property valued at $4,290 between April 21 and 24.
Ellenwood Drive and Merton Avenue--A woman was approached on the street by two men who asked her for the time and then hit her in the face and took her purse containing $115 at 8:15 p.m. April 22.
Yosemite Drive, 1700 block--Three women approached a person in a parking lot, displayed a knife, punched the victim in the eye and stomach, and fled with jewelry valued at $250 at 3:10 p.m. on April 22.
Norwalk Avenue, 2000 block--Burglars pried a sliding glass door of a home open and stole a stereo and TV valued at $1,210 between 8 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. April 22.
Lincoln Avenue, 4900 block--Jewelry and firearms valued at $13,750 were stolen from a home between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. April 24.
Echo Park
White Knoll Drive, 1000 block--Thieves broke into an apartment via a balcony and stole a TV and other video equipment valued at $5,000 between 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. April 21.
Sunset Boulevard and Figueroa Street--A purse and its contents, valued at $505, was snatched from a woman on the sidewalk at 10 a.m. April 24.
Glassell Park
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3500 block--Clothing valued at $8,910 was stolen from a vehicle between April 22 and 24.
Blake Avenue, 1300 block--Five men armed with a semiautomatic handgun held up a market at 11:45 a.m. April 24 and fled with money and firearms valued together at $3,350.
Fernleaf Street, 2200 block--Jewelry valued at $4,710 was stolen from a home in a burglary between 4 and 6 p.m. April 24.
Altman Street, 2400 block--Tools and heavy equipment valued at $9,400 were stolen from a business after burglars forced their way in through a wall at 3:30 p.m. April 25.
Highland Park
East Avenue 43, 100 block--Industrial equipment valued at $2,820 was stolen from the basement of a garment factory on April 19 or 20.
York Boulevard and Avenue 64--A woman pedestrian was robbed at gunpoint of a purse containing $80 by two men at 9:30 p.m. April 20.
North Figueroa Street, 4300 block--Thieves picked the lock of a business to gain entrance and stole $2,000 cash between April 18 and 20.
Avenue 56 and York Boulevard--Two thieves approached a woman standing on a street corner, brandished a knife and stole $2,700 at 7:25 p.m. April 21.
Figueroa Street, 5400 block--A person in their vehicle was robbed at gunpoint of $210 by two men at 9:15 p.m. April 22.
Monte Vista Street, 5200 block--Burglars pried open the door of an apartment, ransacked it and stole a stereo valued at $1,860 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. April 22.
North Avenue 64, 300 block--Household goods valued at $17,605 were stolen from a vehicle on April 23 or 24.
Los Feliz
Glendower Avenue, 2400 block--A burglar broke into a home at 5 a.m. April 20, stabbed the occupant with a screwdriver, and then stole money and jewelry valued at $1,603.
New Hampshire Avenue, 1800 block--A TV and industrial equipment valued at $3,000 were stolen from an apartment on April 20 or 21.
Sunset Boulevard, 4200 block--Burglars forced open the front door of an apartment, ransacked it, and stole a TV and stereo valued at $2,450 between April 21 and 23.
Los Feliz Boulevard and Garden Street--A thief on a bicycle snatched a woman’s purse containing $110 at 2:50 p.m. April 22.
North Normandie Avenue, 1800 block--A person in a parking facility was held up at gunpoint at 10:10 p.m. April 24 and robbed of money and jewelry valued at $3,580.
Riverside Drive, 3100 block--Jewelry valued at $1,530 was stolen from a home in a burglary between 2 and 7:20 p.m. April 26.
Mt. Washington
Arroyo Seco Avenue, 3200 block--A woman reported that she was raped on a pedestrian overcrossing at 4 p.m. on April 21.
North Figueroa Street, 2700 block--Two robbers armed with a revolver took $500 from the cash register of a fast-food restaurant at 3:30 p.m. April 22.
Jessica Drive, 4500 block--Household goods and appliances valued at $8,215 were stolen from a home during a burglary on April 23 or 24.
Silver Lake
Vermont Place, 4600 block--A person returning home at 9 p.m. April 19 surprised two burglars, who knocked the victim unconscious and fled with jewelry valued at $10,000.
Benton Way, 1700 block--Burglars smashed the door window of a home between 2 and 11 p.m. April 20 and stole jewelry valued at $6,500.
Scotland Street, 3000 block--Three men robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint of money and camera equipment valued at $380 at 9:30 p.m. April 24.
