Rolling to L.A.: The eighth annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction dinner will be held Jan. 12 at the Century Plaza, marking the first time the event has been held outside New York City. Suzan Evans, executive director of the Hall of Fame Foundation, said Tuesday that the inductees haven’t been chosen yet, but the eligibility list includes several major acts associated with the West Coast. They include Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Big Brother and the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) and Sly & the Family Stone.
