Davy Jones cruised to victory in the Nissan Grand Prix of Atlanta, crossing the finish line under caution when the IMSA Camel GTP race was stopped six minutes early because of debris from an accident.
Jones, driving a Jaguar XJR-14, led every lap and averaged 96.558 m.p.h. in completing 63 laps around the 2.52-mile road course. Tom Kendall of LaCanada was second in a Chevrolet GTP.
