CHULA VISTA : Burglar Shot, Killed by Homeowner
A Chula Vista man shot and killed a burglar who had broken into his home early Saturday morning.
Theodore Curtis, 58, a resident of the 300 block of J Street, was awakened by the sound of breaking glass and confronted the armed burglar in his home just after midnight, according to Chula Vista police. Curtis shot and killed the unidentified man, described as being in his early 20’s.
No charges were filed against Curtis.
