The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between April 13 and April 19:
Glendale
East Glenoaks Boulevard, 1700 block--A thief may have used a key to enter a third-story apartment and steal a VCR, compact discs, a stereo, musical equipment and clothing valued at $2,300 between April 13 and 15.
North Columbus Avenue, 200 block--A woman leaving the Glendale Galleria and pushing her son in a stroller reported that a man jumped out of his car, hit her in the face, took her purse containing $40 and overturned the stroller at 8:30 p.m. April 15. There were no serious injuries.
San Fernando Road, 5500 block--Burglars removed a roof vent of an electronics business on April 15 or 16, ransacked the inside, damaged several doors, and stole office equipment valued at $995 and eight cellular phones valued at $6,400.
Foothill Boulevard, 3500 block--The storage room of a business was burglarized on April 15 or 16, and power tools and equipment valued at $6,085 were stolen.
West Vine Street, 500 block--Burglars smashed a window of a home and stole a shotgun and videotapes valued at $930, and $40 in coins between 10 and 11 a.m. April 17.
Coronado Drive, 800 block--A woman was robbed at gunpoint of her purse, valued at $450, and $100 cash by two men as she stepped out of her car in her driveway at 11:55 p.m. April 17.
Colorado and Adams streets--Two men ran up to a car stopped at a red light, smashed the window with a tire iron and robbed the male driver of a gold bracelet valued at $275 at 3:35 a.m. April 18.
Colorado and Everett streets--A man was arrested by police after attempting to rob a woman of her purse at 3:16 a.m. April 20.
La Canada Flintridge
La Taza Drive, 1700 block--A sheltie dog valued at $450 was stolen from a yard on April 17 or 18.
Atwater
Chevy Chase Drive, 3900 block--Tools valued at $950 were stolen from a storage box in a yard between April 10 and 13.
Eagle Rock
Colorado Boulevard, 900 block--A business was burglarized on April 13 or 14, and computer equipment valued at $5,000 was stolen.
Pine Grove Avenue, 900 block--Money and video equipment valued together at $3,200 were stolen from a home between noon and 8 p.m. April 14.
Colorado Boulevard and Figueroa Street--A person in a car in a parking facility was robbed at gunpoint of $100 at 1:45 p.m. April 19.
Echo Park
Silver Lake and Glendale boulevards--A thief simulated a gun to rob a person at an ATM of money and jewelry valued at $220 at 11 p.m. April 15.
North Alvarado Street, 1200 block--Four thieves used a crowbar to break the lock of a clothing store and made off with merchandise valued at $20,000 at 3:50 a.m. April 16.
Stadium Way and Academy Road--A woman was robbed of her car and her purse by a man wielding a screwdriver at 6:30 p.m. April 16.
Glendale Boulevard, 1400 block--Money and jewelry valued at $3,180 were stolen from an apartment between 6 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. April 17.
Glassell Park
Estara Avenue, 3000 block--Burglars entered a private school between April 10 and 13 and stole computer equipment and a radio valued at $1,850.
Avenue 34, 2800 block--A stereo and tapes valued at $1,245 were stolen from a home by a thief who fled in a car driven by an accomplice at 11:30 a.m. April 15.
Pasadena Freeway and Avenue 26--Two men suspected of stealing industrial equipment valued at $5,000 from a garment factory at 1:15 a.m. April 18 were arrested by police. An accomplice escaped.
Avenue 27 and Pepper Avenue--A person on a street was robbed at gunpoint of money and jewelry valued at $186 at 11:30 p.m. April 18.
Avenue 35 and Verdugo Road--Three men beat and robbed a person on the street of $738 at 1:50 p.m. April 19.
Griffith Park
Forest Lawn and Zoo drives--Heavy equipment valued at $8,709 was stolen from a construction site between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. April 16.
Highland Park
Avenue 56 and Buchanan Street--A person on a sidewalk at 11:45 a.m. April 14 was confronted at gunpoint by three men who stole a wallet containing $100.
Figueroa Street, 6100 block--Three men robbed a person on the street at knifepoint of $151 in cash at 1 p.m. April 14.
Avenue 55 and York Boulevard--A man jumped out of a car and stole a dog valued at $500 as its owner was walking it on the street at 6 p.m. April 14.
Annan Way, 6100 block--A burglar forced open the door of a home, defecated on the floor and fled with jewelry and cash valued together at $3,000 between 7:50 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 14.
Pasadena Avenue, 3800 block--A thief broke into a hardware store at 2:15 a.m. April 15 and stole $600 cash.
Toland Way, 4300 block--Burglars removed the glass from an apartment window and stole money and video equipment valued at $1,308 on April 16 or 17.
Avenue 57 and Via Marisol--Four people approached a person waiting for a bus at 6 a.m. April 18, pointed a gun and robbed the individual of $104 in cash.
North Avenue 56, 400 block--Burglars ransacked an apartment and stole money and jewelry valued at $900 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. April 18.
Los Feliz
North Vermont Avenue, 1300 block--Computer equipment valued at $4,000 was stolen from a medical center between April 10 and 13.
Hillhurst Avenue, 1900 block--A person at an ATM machine was robbed at gunpoint of $200 at 7:20 p.m. April 14.
Maubert Avenue, 4600 block--Burglars pried open the rear door of an apartment and stole a TV and video equipment valued at $11,030 at 10:30 p.m. April 13.
Shannon Road, 3600 block--Video and camera equipment valued at $740 were stolen from a home between 11 and 11:30 a.m. April 15.
Nottingham Avenue, 2300 block--Two robbers forced their way into a home at gunpoint, ordered an occupant to the floor, and stole money and jewelry valued at $5,700 at 11:25 p.m. April 18.
North Vermont Avenue, 1400 block--Computer equipment and food valued at $1,000 were stolen from a business at 8:05 p.m. April 19.
Mt. Washington
North Figueroa Street, 4700 block--Clothing valued at $25,000 was stolen from a dwelling on April 14 or 15.
Silver Lake
Lakeshore Avenue, 2200 block--Two burglars were frightened away from a home after the occupant pushed an audible alarm button at 1:50 p.m. April 13.
Redcliff Street, 2100 block--A telephone, equipment and luggage valued at $5,325 were stolen from a home between 7:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. April 14.
Rosanna Street, 2900 block--A telephone, equipment and business machines valued together at $500 were reported stolen from a manufacturing firm at 10:40 p.m. April 15.
