News on Arledge: Wednesday morning’s prostate cancer surgery on ABC News President Roone Arledge, 60, was “successfully completed,” according to a statement issued by ABC News and Johns Hopkins Hospital, where the operation took place. “As expected, the tumor had not spread and has been removed. Mr. Arledge is recovering nicely and no further treatment will be necessary,” the statement reported.
