Calnetics’ Profit in 3rd Quarter Dips to $101,000
Calnetics Corp., a Chatsworth-based plastics manufacturer, said its fiscal third-quarter profit slipped to $101,000 from $104,000 a year earlier.
The earnings dip in the quarter ended March 31 came as Calnetics’ sales rose 7%, to $3.52 million from $3.28 million a year earlier.
For the first nine months of its fiscal year, Calnetics’ net income rose 5%, to $462,000 from $441,000, and its nine-month sales fell 4%, to $9.83 million from $10.2 million.
