Man Dies, Woman Shot in Oxnard

Detectives were investigating a homicide in Oxnard Sunday night after they were called about a domestic dispute and found that two people had been shot, police said.
About 8:50 p.m., officers were called about a family fight in the 2800 block of M Street, said Oxnard Police Lt. Joe Munoz. When they arrived, they found a woman had been shot in the shoulder, and a male cousin of the family had been fatally wounded, Munoz said.
The victim was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center and was dead on arrival, Munoz said. Police refused to release the name of the victim Sunday night.
