‘Young Indiana’ Hangs On: Indiana Jones survived his greatest peril yet Thursday when ABC renewed “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles” for next season. The network picked up the George Lucas adventure series for 13 episodes plus a two-hour premiere movie. The show, which has a budget of $1.6 million per episode and is shot around the world, made a strong mid-season debut in March, then steadily declined in the ratings during a six-week run. Ten unaired episodes left over from this year will be aired in the fall, bringing next season up to 24 episodes.
