Dead Dog Dumping Leads to Jail Term

PHOENIX — A dog breeder accused of dumping 143 greyhound carcasses in an orchard has been sentenced to a month in jail and fined $25,000. Glen Eugene McGaughey, 64, also was ordered Tuesday to perform 400 hours of community service with the Arizona Humane Society.
