Claremont : Hazardous Waste Collection

The city will conduct its annual collection of household hazardous waste from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 25 at the community services yard at 215 Cornell Ave., just south of the police station.
The city will collect batteries, cleaning solvents, paint supplies, waste motor oil, pesticides, herbicides, pool chemicals, photographic chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
Items that cannot be accepted include ammunition, explosives, radioactive materials and biological or infectious waste.
Participation will be limited to Claremont residents.
