Chrysler Recalls Renaults: Chrysler Corp. is recalling 380,000 of its 1983 through 1987 model Renault Alliance and Encore cars to replace faulty cooling system components. Chrysler said a component in the system could fail, allowing engine coolant to splash inside the vehicles. The auto maker said there have been reports of minor burns as a result. Chrysler said it will repair the affected models at its Jeep/Eagle dealerships. American Motors Corp. built the Renault Alliance and Encore cars until 1987, shortly before Chrysler acquired it.
