Memorial Planned for Missing Pilot

A memorial service will be held today at the Lemoore Naval Air Station near Fresno for a pilot who is missing after his aircraft crashed while performing night carrier landings off the San Diego coast.
Lt. (j.g.) Arno Strasser was flying an F/A-18 Hornet and doing night landings on the aircraft carrier Ranger when the crash occurred about 8:20 p.m. Saturday. He was assigned to VFA-125 squadron at Lemoore.
