SAN DIEGO : Bombing Trial Gets Under Way
An Escondido man went on trial Tuesday on charges that he bombed the federal courthouse in San Diego in 1990.
The attorney for David Cox, 36, told U.S. District Court jurors that Cox will testify and will deny any responsibility for the Sept. 15, 1990, explosion, which caused heavy damage to the courthouse entrance.
Cox is charged with manufacturing bombs and setting one off at the courthouse.
