FULLERTON — A man was shot in the chest Monday night, apparently after an argument in the street, police said.
Friends took the man, whose identity was not immediately available, to Placentia-Linda Community Hospital after the 8:41 p.m. shooting.
Police said he suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, but his condition was not known late Monday.
Police went to the 3100 block of Garnet Lane after getting a call reporting an argument in the street.
Roberto Moreno, 16, said he heard about three shots coming from outside the front of his house. Moreno went to the front window and saw a group of people running east from the scene.
