STREET BARRICADE: The Los Angeles City Council on Tuesday is scheduled to consider a motion by Councilman Ernani Bernardi to remove a concrete barricade from Blythe Street in Panorama City. The barricade was erected to help deter drug sales, but police say the barrier actually hinders their efforts.
ALAMO ARRAIGNMENT: Controversial evangelist Tony Alamo is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in San Fernando Superior Court on charges that he ordered the beating of an 11-year-old boy at his religious compound in Saugus.
