Slain Man’s Body Found in Lakeside
The bullet-riddled body of an unidentified man was found off an embankment of North Woodside Avenue in Lakeside on Sunday, authorities said.
A resident of the area who was walking along Woodside just south of Riverford Road about noon spotted the body and called the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, officials said.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Manny Castillo said the man was in his late teens or early 20s and was not carrying identification. Fingerprints will be used in an attempt to determine his identity.
