WIDOW’S WORK
I am an admirer of the work of Raymond Carver and Tess Gallagher, and I, too, am intrigued by their literary relationship, their marriage and the Carver mystique (“Widow’s Work,” by John Douglas Marshall, Jan. 12). If anyone’s interest is piqued by this article, there are some beautiful examples of Gallagher’s poetry in the January/February issue of American Poetry Review. There are some readers of poetry out here.
