Re: Claudia Puig’s “Radio in the Raw” article (Calendar, Feb. 9):

I, too, defend the rights of creative radio personalities to say whatever they choose, but “creative” is the operative word here. The puerile smut offered by today’s sexist male deejays is insulting to anyone with a brain.

I’m convinced there’s a huge audience just waiting for a funny, smart female who can entertain, as well as talk about the issues. Give us a real alternative and we will listen.
