Simpson-Bruckheimer Case Dismissed: A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has dismissed a 3-year-old emotional distress suit against Hollywood producers Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer of “Top Gun” and “Days of Thunder” fame. Judge Patti Kitchen ruled that the case, brought by a former secretary named Monica Harmon, lacked merit. The suit received widespread media attention for its allegations of drug use and abusive behavior.
