GRIM DAYS AT GRANT HIGH

I graduated from Grant High School seven months ago. My teachers not only gave me enough attention in class, they also devoted time after class to help me understand such subjects as trigonometry, calculus and physics. I am now a freshman at UCLA and have found that I already understand most of the material covered in the classes. I know many other students from Grant who are doing as well. There are many minority students who, before Grant, didn’t care about school and now are taking honors courses. There is no other school in the L.A. Unified School District that offers so much.
