CSUN Edged in Volleyball Final

Penn State handed Cal State Northridge a five-game loss Saturday in the championship match of the Hall of Fame Classic men’s volleyball tournament at Springfield, Mass.

The Nittany Lions (5-5) took a 2-0 lead, then held on to win, 15-11, 15-7, 10-15, 8-15, 15-11.

Ken Lynch had 24 kills, Axel Hagar 15 and Coley Kyman 13 for Northridge (1-2). Hagar also had 12 digs. Hagar and Lynch were named to the all-tournament team.
