Cuba and Western Somoa have withdrawn from the 1994 World Cup, soccer’s governing body announced.
A total of 141 countries remain entered for the World Cup. Germany qualifies for the 24-team finals as defending champion, and the United States qualifies as the host nation. The rest must compete in qualifying rounds.
