THE TEMPTATION OF TOM DOOLEY
Dooley’s writings were not “disinformation.” They were filled with facts about Communist cruelties that misinformed sympathizers in this country did not want to hear. Looking back, was Dooley wrong in warning people about Communist rule? Ask the boat people!
As for the charge that Dooley was a homosexual, I checked with Dooley’s longtime pastor in Laos, who is now in Texas. He assured me that in his 19 years in Laos, he never once heard anyone imply that Dooley was gay. Even if he were, did that negate all the good he did for the sick and dying?
