The Orange County Chamber of Commerce’s longtime president and chief executive officer will soon retire, it was announced Thursday. Lucien D. Truhill, a 30-year veteran of the Santa Ana organization, will step down May 15.
The Orange County chamber, with 1,650 members, is one of the 10 largest regional chambers in the country.
“The chamber has weathered the recession remarkably well and is now positioned to make significant advances in forthcoming years,” Truhill said in a statement.
The chamber said it will appoint a committee to search for Truhill’s replacement.
