Well-Worn Art: What good is an expensive art collection if you never invite anyone over to the house?
Realizing this problem, the Circle Gallery at South Coast Plaza has started the “Art to Wear” collection, which, the gallery says, will help meet the demand for “wearable art.”
Sorry, Rembrandt did not specialize in bracelets.
Not to worry. The gallery plans on selling limited-edition, fine-art jewelry by the likes of Erte, Braque and Cocteau.
The gallery is owned by Circle Fine Art, an organization of 40 contemporary art galleries from across the United States, Canada and Japan.
