SIMI VALLEY : Reagan to Offer a Lesson in Politics

Former President Ronald Reagan will participate in a mock political convention with Simi Valley junior high students next month, officials said Tuesday.
Reagan has agreed to meet with Sequoia Junior High School students at his presidential library near Simi Valley on Feb. 27 to discuss how political parties nominate presidential candidates, said Cathy Goldberg, a Reagan spokeswoman.
However, school officials declined to comment about the meeting, saying they had not yet talked with Reagan officials.
