A fire at a single-story home in Burbank caused $275,000 in damage and left two residents homeless, fire officials said Tuesday.
No one was hurt in the fire in the 2400 block of North Lincoln Street near Tulare Avenue on Monday, Fire Marshal Darryl Forbes said. The blaze was reported about 9:15 p.m. and took 20 firefighters about 40 minutes to put it out, he said.
Damage was estimated at $225,000 to the house and $50,000 to its contents, Forbes said. The fire also caused about $3,000 in damage to the home next door.
Arson investigators on Tuesday had not determined the cause of the fire.
