County Needs Jobs
I have a new motto for the county of San Diego: It’s called, “Jobs, who needs ‘em.” What a difference between the city and the county. Here we have the city adopting a very aggressive task force report that encourages and promotes business growth, development and privatization.
At the same point in time, here’s the county saying they won’t even look at private proposals for solid waste. Who needs a tax base anyway? This shortsightedness in indicative of why the county has so many economic problems. I just hope George Bailey, as the new chair, can rise above the bureaucratic nepotism.
