Miami Heat rookie point guard Steve Smith underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery and is expected to be sidelined three to four weeks. It had been feared Smith might miss the rest of the season. Smith suffered torn cartilage in his right knee on a non-contact play near the end of Sunday night’s loss to the Lakers.
