COUNTYWIDE : Supervisors Name Flynn as Chairman

The County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday selected John K. Flynn, a four-term veteran, as its chairman for 1992.
Flynn, 58, replaces Supervisor Maggie Erickson Kildee as the presiding officer of the full-time board.
Flynn has represented the Oxnard-based 5th District since 1973, except for four years in the late 1970s. A former history teacher, Flynn has been board chairman three previous times--in 1975, 1983 and 1988.
Supervisor Susan K. Lacey was chosen vice chairwoman.
Both Flynn and Lacey face reelection campaigns this spring.
