Legalizing Marijuana

In your Dec. 16 article on the pro-hemp rally in Westwood you quote a passerby as saying there are more serious problems than whether pot is legal or not. He goes on to say, “Ten miles away from here, kids are getting shot for the very stuff they want to legalize.” How true. Doesn’t he realize that if marijuana were legalized those kids probably wouldn’t be getting shot?
