Bridge Over Troubled Waters?: Paul Simon’s planned concert tour of South Africa has drawn opposition from two more militant black groups. Claiming genuine political reform has not started in their country, the Pan Africanist Congress and Azanian People’s Organization have joined the Azanian Youth League in opposing the tour, which is scheduled to begin in Johannesburg on Saturday. Other groups, including the African National Congress and the South African Musicians’ Alliance, have approved the tour.
