HOUSEHOLD WASTE: The Los Angeles Department of Public Works will collect household hazardous waste Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the West Valley Municipal Building, 19040 Vanowen St., Reseda. Residents will be able to dispose of household chemicals, such as motor oil, paint and pesticides.
