Role Clarified by Dean at USC
I commend the Times for bringing to the attention of the business community the very critical and important issue of school choice. However, I would like to clarify that as dean of the USC School of Education, I serve in a variety of advisory roles.
As such, my involvement with the Excellence Through Choice in Education League in no way should be construed as a personal or institutional endorsement of any particular plan. Any inference that I or USC support adoption of any particular proposal would be in error.
