RED, WHITE & BLUE: Starting today, the United Nations Assn. in Santa Ana will sell any flag you want from what was once the Soviet Union, including the old hammer and sickle. . . . “We expect to sell a lot of the new Russian flags,” says spokeswoman Ruth Leger, who adds that the red, white and blue stripes surprise some. The nonprofit store also has flags from others in the new Commonwealth, or can order them. “People who have traveled there just want them as a memento,” she says.
